Raising Cane, The Cherokee and Rivercane – WORLD PREMIERE

Rivercane covered hundreds of thousands of acres throughout the Southeast for thousands of years.  It prevented erosion and mitigated floods and it was a staple of southeast native peoples. In addition to music and the film screening, the program will include a discussion with native elders and conservation experts.  And a party featuring desserts and drinks to celebrate the Center’s 15th anniversary. Advanced registration is required. All tickets are $20 per person.
